Back Up Child and Elder Care Program
Back-up Child and Elder Care is care provided to enable employees to attend work when they experience temporary breakdowns in their child or elder care giving arrangements. The program addresses a variety of care giving breakdowns including unpredictable situations (such as illness, school closures, unreliable caregivers) and predictable, but difficult to resolve, situations such as holiday time, and caregiver vacations and illness.
Back-up care is particularly important to those whose loved ones live elsewhere and those who work non-traditional work hours. BrownRichards’ Back-Up Child and Elder Care Program can help avert potential absenteeism and disruptions to the business day and help ensure employees feel that both their professional and personal needs are being met.
